▼ Thoughts

Just a collection of quick thoughts not needing a separate posting:

1. If you don't own Bex's book, you're most likely a novice. It's pretty outdated now, but is a great starting point. You can get a pretty good preview off google books, but be sure to buy it if you find it useful.  And no, I have no affiliation with Bex :)
2. I have abandoned the Yahoo Stellent Users Group in favor of the OTN Discussion Forums for ECM.   It is certainly useful as an additional resource to find information, and was great when it was the only medium for communal help, but user groups were popular back in the 90s.  If you want my input, post it on the forums.
3. What does idc stand for?  I'd wager intradoc (the base package for all of Stellent's original code).  Why they chose that?  Beats me.
4. Seeing one of my posts on John's Blog was my initial inspiration for writing this blog.
